We want you to know that you are not alone, that we understand the pain you are in and that it really hurts.  We also know, that even though you might not feel like hanging with your friends or spending time playing games or doing crafts with your family, it is important to keep your mind occupied in activities that can distract you from the pain.  The medical experts know that the neuroplasticity of our brains adapts to what our thoughts are…it’s kind of like, seeing the puck go in the net with that great slapshot, or that amazing double flip on the gymnastic mat that let’s your body achieve the physical motion in competions.  … where your mind goes, your body follows, so to speak 🙂  … so, take out your favorite game or craft and ‘play’.
