HAWKINS FAMILY

The ILC Foundation gratefully acknowledges the financial support of Susan and Cecil Hawkins for their signature sponsorship support of our Difficult to Diagnose Disease Program First Annual Scientific Workshop held in October 2013, where twenty-six multidisciplinary specialists came together to begin the process of developing best practices for the diagnosis, treatment and care of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS).  The positive outcomes influenced doctors and directors of pain centers to revisit patient files to confirm diagnosis, where at one center alone, an increase of 200% in EDS diagnosis was realized.  Thank you for your tremendous support!
